To promote wildlife conservation, Australia Zoo, the cherished home of Steve Irwin’s legacy, is set to produce NFTs.

This pioneering project celebrates two decades of Australia Zoo's Wildlife Warriors, a global movement committed to combating environmental crimes and conserving plant and animal species, which the Irwins founded in 2002.
In collaboration with Meadow Labs, an Australian tech startup, Australia Zoo will develop NFTs that showcase the various animals residing within the zoo.
The NFT collection will consist of unique releases, each highlighting a specific animal associated with Australia Zoo's Wildlife Warriors. As stated in the official release, these NFTs will be autonomously generated, possess utility, and be completely distinct for each buyer.
Minted on the eco-friendly Algorand blockchain, these unique NFTs come with advantages such as low transaction costs and a commitment to energy efficiency, avoiding traditional mining methods.
NFTs can be purchased using traditional currency through MoonPay or via an Algorand wallet, with all profits dedicated to wildlife preservation efforts.
