Yuga Labs Unveils Latest Updates for the Otherside Metaverse

Yuga Labs has announced This update pertains to their engaging virtual platform, The Otherside.
The Otherside serves as a metaverse linked to the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT ecosystem, blending elements of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game with a virtual world. Recent enhancements in the game include The Legends of the Mara, separated Kodas, Vessels, and expanded Otherdeeds NFTs. Players can now forge alliances and acquire reinforcements to face the Shattered threats. Notably, Yuga Labs also incorporated mechanisms for players to obtain various allies and reinforcements.
On May 30, an announcement for StarMap was made by The Otherside. 'Your expanded Otherdeed is your game board, but gaze to the skies where constellations align to reveal insights into what’s to come,' the announcement revealed.
With the latest update, players can engage in battles alongside others, forming alliances with a variety of Yuga Labs PFP collections and third-party NFT collections, all intending to bring in reinforcements for the grand conflict of Legends of the Mara. By owning a battle ally NFT, participants can enhance their abilities to confront the Shattered and seize their precious assets. Even a minor tier setup with few Hunter slots can provide a strategic advantage in the battle against the Shattered, potentially leading to a better position on the leaderboard.
In April, Yuga Labs partnered In collaboration with the luxury brand Gucci, Yuga Labs has launched an exclusive physical item tailored for players within The Otherside metaverse. The release features 3,333 KodaPendants, each priced at 450 APE.
