Beyond the magazine itself, Vogue Singapore has rolled out a 3D realm crafted by the user-friendly Metaverse developer Spatial, in collaboration with Web3 studio PolyCount.io. This partnership also includes Ready Player Me, known for their realistic full-body 3D avatar creations, to enhance avatar personalization.
The launch unfolds in two phases; the initial phase is currently available, while the next segment will debut in October to celebrate Vogue Singapore's second anniversary.
Visitors to this virtual experience can explore freely and customize avatars with couture designs exclusively crafted by Yimeng Yu, a digital fashion innovator from China. Attendees can try on two of her cutting-edge pieces, Rebirth and Nirvana, completely free of charge.
Around this time last year, Vogue Singapore made headlines with the debut of its very first NFT edition. The cover featured an eye-catching, large QR code printed in silver foil accompanied by the phrase 'New Beginnings.' The magazine also auctioned two NFT-only covers along with eight unique artworks on OpenSea.
