VeVerse is excited to announce its membership in the Metaverse Standards Forum.

We are dedicated to transforming VeVerse into the premier platform for publishing and commerce in the Metaverse. Our mission involves embracing crucial Web3 principles and open standards as the industry evolves. We're thrilled to report that we have just joined the Metaverse Standards Forum, which was established by industry pioneers to accelerate one of the core tenets of the Metaverse and Web3: interoperability.
June 22, 2022 . Just yesterday, VeVerse became part of the newly formed Metaverse Standards Forum. Metaverse Standards Forum The forum's primary goal is to investigate, discuss, and establish open standards for developing and managing the Metaverse. VeVerse aligns with the Forum's ambition to hasten the development and adoption of these standards, particularly concerning interoperability. Without such standards in place, the Metaverse risks evolving into an incompatible and cumbersome collection of isolated environments—a situation we refer to as a 'Frankenverse.' Even in its early stages, VeVerse supports various operating systems, adheres to industry-standard avatars, and accommodates a wide range of both 2D and 3D file formats. We're also planning to offer even more interoperability options in the future, so stay tuned!
We're enthusiastic about actively engaging in the Metaverse Standards Forum to help prototype and establish open metaverse standards, sharing our insights with fellow members and learning from their experiences. Our vision for VeVerse is to be a flexible ecosystem, adapting to both current and future trends while remaining accessible to all stakeholders in the industry.
Neil Trevett, president of Khronos and one of the Forum's founders, stated, 'The Metaverse will integrate multiple technologies, creating a need for a wide array of interoperability standards that must be developed and supported by various standards organizations. The Metaverse Standards Forum serves as a unique platform for collaboration between these organizations and the industry, aiming to facilitate pragmatic and timely standardization essential for a transparent and inclusive Metaverse.'
Once launched, VeVerse aims to be an open, inclusive, and diverse platform for anyone looking to enter this new chapter of the Internet. Stay tuned for more thrilling updates from us very soon!
