On April 25, Snoop Dogg and VeeFriends released a video highlighting the rapper in the studio along with Gary Vee, where Snoop is seen developing a song, and Vaynerchuk shares his excitement about the impressive quality of the track.
The upcoming single, titled “Please Take a Step Back,” features a vibrant pop-art cover showcasing the faces of both entrepreneurs. According to the promotional clip, the track is set to be released on Friday, April 28, through Snoop Dogg’s Death Row Records, with fans having the option to pre-save it right now.
In addition to the track drop, VeeFriends is launching a multi-phase experience on Burn Island , their token-burning platform that enables users to trade NFTs for various rewards.
Following the song's debut, holders of VeeCon 2022 NFT tickets will have the opportunity to burn these tickets in exchange for exclusive “Please Take a Step Back” NFTs. Subsequently, VeeFriends will kick off a contest giving players the chance to win valuable blue-chip NFTs from Gary Vee’s extensive collection. The final stage of this burning event allows participants to burn their NFTs from the “Please Take a Step Back” series to secure tickets to the High School Reunion Concert featuring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa in Atlanta.
VeeFriends is a collection of non-fungible tokens crafted by Gary Vaynerchuk’s Vayner3 (formerly VaynerNFT). The collection boasts 10,300 unique hand-drawn illustrations of animals, humans, and various concepts. VeeFriends is well-known for partnering with mainstream brands and offering tangible merchandise.
