In celebration of this new partnership, the companies are providing free “.nft” domains to Opera users.
Unstoppable Domains, recognized for offering web3 domain names, is partnering with Opera, which is the first web browser equipped with a crypto wallet. This collaboration allows Opera users to build and navigate Unstoppable-enabled web3 sites in a safe and secure manner.
The collaboration brings Unstoppable domain extensions to the Opera browser and wallet. Previously supporting .crypto and .zil domains, Opera now enables users to register .x, .nft, and .wallet domain names. This new functionality is accessible across all of Opera’s platforms—whether desktop for Linux, Mac, and Windows, the Opera Crypto Browser, or Android.
Moreover, this partnership allows users of the Opera Crypto Wallet, whether on desktop or mobile, to seamlessly transfer their cryptocurrencies in and out of their wallets.
To commemorate this launch, the two firms are gifting free “.nft” domains to Opera users. Additionally, users have the option to claim domain names that correspond to their Twitter handles. In order to do this, they need to verify their accounts, ensure their handle is available, and update their profiles with the new web3 names.
The collaboration between Opera and Unstoppable Domains empowers users to leverage the security and censorship resistance that comes with the decentralized web. The new web3 domains allow users to send and receive cryptocurrencies, access various games and metaverse experiences, and even craft decentralized websites.

Unstoppable Domains has recently forged a partnership partnered with the metaverse platform Ready Player Me, which focuses on creating cross-game avatars that tie users' digital identities to their avatars. Following this, on February 16, NFT.com made an announcement regarding its collaboration with Unstoppable Domains – together, they will enable users to acquire their digital identities directly through the upcoming NFT platform.
