Uniswap launches NFTs Starting today, users can manage their NFTs alongside ERC-20 tokens on the platform, which has taken over the functions of the Genie NFT marketplace aggregator.
The platform already has compatibility with several established NFT marketplaces including OpenSea, Foundation, X2Y2, LooksRare, Larva Labs, Sudoswap, NFT20, and NFTX.
To mark the NFT launch, the company is giving away over $5 million in USDC to past Genie users, who joined the platform earlier this year.
There are two categories for the airdrop participants. Users who engaged in multiple transactions before the snapshot date on April 15 are set to receive $300. Meanwhile, those who maintained Genie holdings prior to the snapshot will be rewarded with $1,000. Notably, the Universal Router contract is in place, enabling users to save on gas fees significantly.
