Director Michael Bay teams up with Jadu to unveil captivating 3D avatars.

The AR platform Jadu has introduced a collection of 3D robotic avatars developed by acclaimed filmmaker Michael Bay, known for his work on Transformers. Next month, players will get the chance to explore the augmented reality universe through Bay's unique AVAs, alongside an impressive 11,111 other Jadu avatars available as NFTs.
These AVAs represent Jadu’s inaugural foray into creating AR avatars, as the company aspires to forge the first Robot IP in the realms of Web3 and augmented reality.
In addition to designing the avatars, Bay offered insights into narrative development for Jadu and created an exclusive line of rare AVAs, which are featured within their collection. A stunning two-minute trailer showcases these unique AVAs, set in Jadu’s augmented reality world, where 3D avatars bring together the physical and digital realms.
The cinematic trailer is described by Jadu as depicting the “creation, rise, and fall” of five AVAs who are drawn into a mesmerizing vortex filled with shifting colors—a portal to Earth. As they descend, they are accompanied by an explosion of vibrant particles, conceptualized as “The Bloom,” hurtling toward the planet.
The partnership between Michael Bay and Jadu signifies a remarkable advance in bringing augmented reality into the gaming environment. This initiative is also a unique artistic endeavor that engages users through immersive storytelling.
In an interview During this collaboration, Bay expressed gratitude towards Asad J. Malik, the CEO of Jadu, for introducing him to the evolving landscape of Web3.
“I see augmented reality as the next significant wave in technology,” declared Bay.
