Thomas Edison's innovative works find a new life as NFTs.

The collaboration between Edison Science Museum and private collectors is set to launch an NFT collection that pays homage to Thomas Edison’s creative legacy.

The 'Chamsori Edison NFT' collection will consist of 1,000 tokens representing genuine historical inventions. These NFTs will be minted on a blockchain platform. OpenSea and other marketplaces.  NFT Owners of these NFTs will gain physical possession of Thomas Edison's groundbreaking inventions, which have profoundly influenced modern society. Edison's contributions include the discovery of electricity, advancements in communication, and developments in sound recording technologies and motion picture cameras.

The 'Chamsori Edison NFT' collection features notable artifacts such as the original light bulb, an Edison Corporation stock certificate, and a phonograph. Each NFT will include an artificially restored recording of Edison’s voice that narrates the details of each collection item.

This initiative is intended to highlight and celebrate the significant historical impact of Thomas Edison’s contributions to science and technology.

An official partnership has been formed for the creation of these NFTs involving notable figures like David Son, CEO of Luckmon; Song Myeong-Seok, CEO of Morrowbogi; the Chamsori Gramophone Museum; and the Edison Science Museum.

Song Myeong-Seok holds the title of the largest private collector of Edison’s creations, amassing an impressive collection that includes 150,000 music albums, 5,000 gramophones, and numerous versions of light bulbs, phonographs, and electric vehicles. Remarkably, he possesses one of only three existing companion charging stations for electric vehicles.

The Chamsori Gramophone Museum and the Edison Science Museum, located in South Korea, house the world’s largest collection of Thomas Edison's inventions.

The release date for the NFT collection is still pending announcement.
