The legendary Notorious B.I.G. is brought back to life through a groundbreaking hip-hop Metaverse called 'The Brook'.

To celebrate what would have been the 50th birthday of The Notorious B.I.G., Burst Live Inc., representing the late artist's estate, has introduced The Brook, a virtual world that mirrors the streets of Brooklyn, the place that shaped him.
Voletta Wallace, Biggie’s mother, shared the exciting news via an Instagram post, mentioning that the team's been working on this intriguing Metaverse project for two years. She also participated in a tribute event held at the Empire State Building, where a spectacular light show in honor of the hip-hop legend illuminated the night sky.
She expressed her enthusiasm, saying, 'Technology opens up opportunities that often exceed our wildest dreams. I’m thrilled that we are advancing into the future with a stunningly realistic avatar of my son Christopher.' said .
'The Brook' is the result of a partnership between Burst Live and Surreal Events, the latter being responsible for the ongoing development and management of this innovative platform. This Metaverse will be a vibrant hub for hip-hop culture, enabling users to attend virtual performances, purchase digital merchandise, invest in virtual properties, and engage in NFT trading.
Owners of B.I.G. tokens will gain privileged entry into the Metaverse, ensuring they receive early access to future NFT releases and merchandise drops, as well as the chance to acquire exclusive B.I.G collector NFTs, which are 3D representations of one-of-a-kind items within The Brook. These NFTs are set to launch on June 3.
One of the standout features of 'The Brook' is the remarkably realistic digital model of B.I.G., crafted from a collection of photos and videos taken in the 1990s. The transformation was orchestrated by Remington Scott, the CEO of Hyperreal and a renowned VFX director with credits on blockbuster films like Lord of The Rings and Spider-Man 2 & 3.
