The Metaverse goes to the movies

In April, The Sandbox partnered with Planet Hollywood, launching the Meta Hollywood project and releasing an exciting trailer that gives a glimpse into the future for cinema fans. Meanwhile, Decentraland is stepping into the film sector as well, collaborating with Versus Entertainment and Lumiere to produce a film titled 'The Infinite Machine'.

Meta Hollywood is set up as a community-driven ecosystem in Web3 for entertainment enthusiasts. It will transform classic film moments into NFTs and aims to merge the realms of Web3 and Hollywood while cultivating a vast community for film lovers and creators to connect within a movie-inspired metaverse, all sustained by utility tokens and an NFT marketplace.

The trailer for Meta Hollywood features iconic movie characters like Terminator, Slimer, Robocop, Gizmo, and Chucky, reimagined in a pixelated and game-inspired style that mirrors the avatars seen in The Sandbox.

'The Infinite Machine' embraces decentralization.
