Fans engaging with Stephen Curry’s NF3 Counter platform can claim free basketball-themed NFTs.

The collaboration between Under Armour and Stephen Curry has birthed the NF3 Counter platform, where for each playoff three-pointer made, fans can grab three free digital basketball NFTs. Each wallet is limited to one NFT per game, with the added bonus of being able to transfer these NFTs to OpenSea for secondary sales. The minting process operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and while the NFTs are free to mint, gas fees apply.
The project kicked off on May 7, and to date, it has produced seven unique basketball NFTs.
Under Armour first collaborated with Curry back in 2020 to launch the 'Curry Brand.' This marks their second venture into NFTs together. Last December, they released a collection of 2,974 sneaker NFTs that are designed to be worn within the Metaverse.
The NBA has been steadily advancing in the NFT space. In 2020, the league teamed up with Dapper Labs to introduce the NFT marketplace app known as Top Shot. Just last month, it unveiled 18,000 Ethereum-based NFTs linked to the Playoffs, and NBA superstar LeBron James has filed for an NFT trademark. Additionally, the Brooklyn Nets made history as the first basketball team to broadcast a game within the Metaverse, offering fans a 360-degree virtual reality viewing experience.
First, you revolutionize the game for the better, and then you transform it. Every three-pointer during playoffs gives fans a shot at owning a piece of basketball history. Discover more at:
