Sotheby’s will hold an auction featuring prestigious digital artworks from the GRAILS collection linked to Three Arrows Capital.

The esteemed British auction house, Sotheby’s, is officially unveiling GRAILS, the Three Arrows Capital NFT collection.
Launched in 2021, this collection boasts a selection of some of the most extraordinary digital artworks compiled to date. According to insights from announcement This launch is designed to transform the perception of digital art among consumers.
GRAILS uncovers standout pieces of modern digital artistry and represents the generative art movement. The collection includes iconic artworks from well-known NFT ventures, such as Larva Labs’ striking Zombie CryptoPunk #664 and Autoglyphs; Tyler Hobbs’ intricate Fidenza #725; Snowfro’s vibrant Chromie Squiggle #1780; and Dmitri Cherniak’s renowned Ringers #879, affectionately referred to as “The Golden Goose.” Also included are Kjetil Golid’s unique Cube Archetype #397 and an exclusive one-of-a-kind piece from Alpha Centauri Kid.


These auctions are set for May, coinciding with Sotheby’s Marquee Sale Week in New York. The artworks will be unveiled in sections, allowing collectors to bid in both auctions and private sales across various global venues. Furthermore, these pieces will be available for viewing in Sotheby’s galleries starting on May 6.

Sotheby’s stands as one of the most prominent art, jewelry, and digital collectible auction houses globally. In October 2021, it initiated ‘Sotheby’s Metaverse,’ a dedicated platform for NFTs and digital art. Recently, their enthusiasm for the metaverse has only grown— earlier this February, they auctioned acquired Neal Stephenson’s manuscript of ‘Snow Crash’ along with a collection of items related to the novel.
