Renowned rapper and collector of NFTs, Snoop Dogg, joins forces with the Web3 animation innovator Astro Project to unveil a music video for his track 'Crip Ya Enthusiasm.'
The video showcases a digital rendition of Snoop Dogg, inspired by the comedic stylings of Larry David. The entire production cleverly integrates nods to David's popular series 'Curb Your Enthusiasm.'
Astro Project has crafted the visuals and characters for 'Crip Ya Enthusiasm' utilizing Unreal Engine. Their creative partnership doesn't end there; they have also released a limited collection of 11,111 unique NFTs, each depicting different donuts that unlock exclusive content from the music video. For example, holders of these NFTs gain access to character animations and 3D models. Furthermore, ownership of an NFT includes access to specialized Unreal Engine tutorials curated by Astro Project.
People can mint the donuts via the company’s platform website for a price of 0.06 ETH, which was about $80 at the moment of writing. As of October 17, 265 of the total 11,111 NFTs had already been minted.
It's notable that Snoop Dogg has also launched a different NFT collection collection of his music. Among them is 'Crip Ya Enthusiasm', priced at 0.8 ETH (around $1,066) and currently held by 203 individuals.
Snoop Dogg is widely recognized not only as a rapper but also as a passionate collector of NFTs and a vocal supporter of cryptocurrency. He has produced several music videos that incorporate themes of the Metaverse. performed in Yuga Labs’ Otherside Metaverse.
