According to the announcement, key components of this initiative include the AI Trailblazers program, which is aimed at providing organizations in both the public and private sectors with access to Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform, tools for low-code development, and foundational models to create innovative solutions. generative AI applications.
Since its inception in July 2023, the program has already enabled the testing of more than 100 generative AI applications, highlighting the significant transformative potential of AI across a multitude of industries.

AI Trailblazers 2.0 aims to expand its reach to support up to 150 additional organizations in Singapore by helping them create generative AI solutions that tackle real-world problems. This initiative will also introduce improved Innovation Sandboxes that grant participant organizations access to Google Cloud's comprehensive AI suite along with support from Google Cloud engineers at no charge for a period of up to 10 weeks.
For AI Trailblazers 2.0, Google Cloud will enable participants to utilize Gemini – the newest model from Google – along with Duet AI to facilitate quicker development, deployment, and operation of their applications. Developers Singapore is on a mission to bolster AI-focused startups.
In addition, Google Cloud in conjunction with EnterpriseSG has kicked off an accelerator program targeting startups, providing up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits, access to AI resources, mentorship opportunities, and technical support. This initiative aims to cultivate the growth of startups that are driven by AI and assist them in breaking into new markets.
Acknowledging the importance of skilled professionals in the AI arena, Google Cloud has announced plans to provide Google Career Certificate scholarships to upskill individuals, focusing on mid-career professionals looking to step into AI sectors.
