Thanks to Venly’s Avalanche app, all the merchants on Shopify can enter the NFT market without any complications.
Customers won't need to hold cryptocurrency or have an Avalanche wallet in order to purchase NFTs on Shopify.

Shopify is introducing more avenues for its vast merchant base to explore new offerings, giving them a chance to innovate their product line. This feature enables the design, creation, and sale of NFTs on the Avalanche network using the Venly app tailored for Shopify vendors. Plus, these sellers don’t need to have technical expertise to start vending NFTs. Shopify merchants can craft and showcase NFTs as sellable items right on their online storefronts, further allowing them to earn royalties through subsequent sales of NFTs using Venly.
The purchasing journey will be quite straightforward; buyers will receive an email with a link to set up a new blockchain wallet, meaning they won't need an existing crypto wallet.
"Our aim is to bridge traditional commerce with blockchain technology, making it simple and accessible for all businesses. The Venly Shopify NFT App serves as a fantastic gateway to Web3 eCommerce for everyone, regardless of their technical background. Given Avalanche’s speed, low costs, and eco-friendly nature, we found it ideal for offering a solid NFT sales platform,\" stated Tim Dierckxsens, the CEO and co-founder of Venly.
With this development from Shopify, NFTs are set to reach a broader audience, especially as the e-commerce giant reports over $1 billion in quarterly revenue. Shopify is aligning with a fast-growing trend of mainstream platforms embracing NFTs.
