During this trial, participants can navigate Metaverse Seoul using their personalized avatars and explore notable locations such as the city hall and central plaza.
According to Park Jong-Soo, the Director General of Seoul's Smart City Policy Bureau, 'Metaverse is transforming into various formats influenced by advancements in technology and user preferences. It is particularly emerging as a novel paradigm in our post-COVID world.'
In the domain of virtual learning, the Seoul government has introduced an online education platform within the metaverse called Seoul Learn, aimed at providing enhanced educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth. This initiative enables students to engage in virtual meetings with mentors and receive guidance related to their career paths.
One of the practical services available in Metaverse Seoul is the ability to obtain resident registration certificates, which users can conveniently access through a dedicated mobile application.
