The Scottish Professional Football League is developing an exciting series of collectible NFT player cards.

The Scottish Professional Football League is preparing its first-ever NFT collection, in partnership with a leading company. ToppsNFT . 

The initiative, referred to as 'SPFL – 21-22 Shining Stars Digital Collectible NFT Cards', celebrates the successful 2021-22 season, particularly the triumph of Celtic F.C.

Topps specializes in creating an NFT marketplace for collectible cards, encompassing everything from sports NFTs to comics and digital relics. This platform allows enthusiasts to explore, collect, and engage with a vibrant global NFT community.

'SPFL – 21-22' will showcase a variety of digital collectibles featuring player images, team logos, and match highlights, complete with commentary from Paul Mitchell. The 'Shining Stars' set includes 5,000 packs, each retailing at $25, containing seven collectibles, one of which is a video.

In terms of rarity, here’s how the collection breaks down: 45% of the packs are common, 25% are uncommon, 16% are rare, 9% are super rare, 4% are epic, and a mere 1% are legendary.

'With many of Scotland’s top talents making major headlines across Europe last season, we felt it was essential to honor an unforgettable year by launching the SPFL’s very first NFT collectible card series,' stated Roshan Patel, Content Product Manager for Football at Topps Digital Sports & Entertainment.

This NFT drop will be available for fans to purchase directly through Topps’ platform. website beginning the afternoon of June 15, 2022.
