In a groundbreaking move, Samsung and Theta Labs have announced the issuance of 100,000 utility NFTs.
Samsung collaborates with Theta Labs to launch an engaging NFT initiative. Through this partnership, Samsung’s customers will gain access to NFTs that offer various digital and physical perks.
Some of the participating organizations in this initiative include Shilla Duty Free, E-cruise, Show Golf, Galaxy Store, and Alllink, a provider of NFC solutions. Because of this collaboration, retailers will extend exclusive benefits to NFT owners, such as gift cards, vouchers, cruise experiences, and other delightful surprises.
Notably, Samsung is rolling out over 100,000 NFTs right now, with plans for further expansion on the horizon. The debut of the 'New Galaxy NFTs' is scheduled for August 10.
According to Mitch Liu, CEO of Theta Labs, \"With this partnership, we’re launching the largest offline NFT utility campaign ever, enabling over 100,000 NFT holders to utilize their Theta NFTs both online and offline via ThetaPass technology. This marks just the beginning, and we aim to broaden our retail and e-commerce networks, enhancing the value provided to Samsung NFT holders.\"

The collaborative journey of Theta Labs and Samsung began earlier this year in February, when they gifted NFTs to customers who purchased flagship models of the Galaxy S22 series and the S8 tablet.
In April, Samsung U.S. made a significant entrance into the Metaverse by initiating a joint campaign with Zepeto, allowing users to engage in a Metaverse game known as 'Galaxy S22 Treasure Hunt,' where players could win various prizes, including the latest smartphone. The renowned game show ‘The Price Is Right’ has debuted its very own NFT collection. Sony aims to create buzz for their innovative 3D display technology by offering a chilling Tiki head NFT.
