Romania seeks to alleviate bureaucratic burdens by integrating NFT technology into its processes.

Romania’s National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI) has unveiled a strategy to combat bureaucracy by digitizing essential forms and documents through blockchain technology. ICI This initiative, dubbed the National System for Issuers and Assets (NSIDA), aims to provide secure digital access and storage for crucial documents.
"Our unified aim is to enhance the interaction among citizens, businesses, and governmental bodies through cutting-edge digital innovations. Web3 technologies can significantly improve the efficiency, speed, and security of public administrative operations. We are excited to explore this vast potential alongside our partners from the Elrond Network,\" stated Adrian Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest. in a release .
The system will utilize the Elrond network for data storage while minimizing energy consumption. Additionally, it will support decentralized digital identity management.
The nation is also exploring the establishment of a decentralized domain name and top-level domain framework using Elrond, paving the way for on-blockchain registration of .ro domains.
