RektGuy Founders Cash Out 71 BAYC NFTs for $9.1 Million

In total, 71 NFTs from Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club found new owners through the Blur NFT marketplace, benefiting from the surge in liquidity available in the NFT sector.
Blur has overtaken OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace, in trading volume.

Altogether, the 71 NFTs from Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club exchanged hands on Blur for 5,545 ETH, equating to about $9.1 million at the time of this report.
The well-regarded non-fungible tokens were offloaded by the RektGuy founders, who mentioned on Twitter that parting with these assets wasn’t an easy choice. However, they didn't want to miss out on the current high demand in the NFT market to leverage profits from their investments. It’s noteworthy that they still retain several NFTs from Yuga Labs, including Otherside, Sewer Passes, and Mutant Ape Yacht Club pieces. Typically, such a transaction would drastically affect the minimum price of the collection, but this time the floor price only dipped by 0.3 ETH, a negligible change given the scale of the sale.

We've witnessed more trading volume in a few transactions than what we used to see in an entire day just a couple of months back, and the floor price hasn't budged at all, lol.
Interestingly, in the past week, Blur has outpaced OpenSea regarding trading volume, with an astounding increase of 445%, reaching $519.17 million, according to reports.
