The group Pussy Riot has introduced their new NFT collection titled 'Proof of Protest.'

The Russian feminist advocacy group Pussy Riot is making waves with their NFT collection, 'Proof of Protest,' aimed at promoting reproductive rights.

Minting lasts till July 9 on Lenster This initiative is part of a decentralized social media platform that operates on the Lens protocol.

Pussy Riot has teamed up with a digital artist for this venture. Ksti Hu The featured artwork includes a glass bottle filled with pink fluid, prominently labeled with the words 'Feminism' and 'Reproductive rights.' The proceeds from this initiative will be donated to further these crucial rights.

Pussy Riot originally formed in 2011 with about 11 women involved. Today, the movement has expanded to include hundreds of participants.

Nadya Tolokonnikova, a prominent member of Pussy Riot, co-founded a new organization in 2021. Unicorn DAO This organization is dedicated to exploring gender-fluid utopias and creating NFTs. Earlier this year, they successfully raised $4.5 million to support female and LGBTQ+ artists.

In June, Unicorn DAO made headlines by acquiring the ENS domain 'legalabortion.eth.' This allows anyone to contribute donations directly to the address, which are then allocated to seven leading reproductive rights organizations such as the Center for Reproductive Rights and Planned Parenthood.

Stani Kulechov, CEO of Aave companies, remarked, 'By enabling activists like Pussy Riot to reach audiences directly through technology that simplifies NFT minting to the level of a post or a like, Lens is giving a voice to a new wave of humanitarians aiming for impactful global change without the threat of censorship.'
