At NYFW, PUMA is set to launch an engaging Metaverse environment featuring a virtual fashion spectacle.
Puma is enhancing its presence in the Web3 domain with the introduction of 'Black Station,' a virtual space designed to engage consumers with various upcoming Web3 events and activations over the coming years.
Launching during New York Fashion Week, Puma will showcase their innovative 'FUTROGRADE' performance. In addition to the dynamic show, the brand plans to release a series of limited edition NFTs and exclusive sneakers that can be redeemed.

For now, fans can step into Puma's digital realm, which showcases a vibrant lobby and three unique gateways, two of which are already live. These gateways conceal new futuristic sneaker designs known as Nitro NFRNO and Nitro Fastroid. Black Station Heiko Desens, Puma's Global Creative Director and Head of Innovation, remarked, 'Our design team was given the freedom to explore; we encouraged them to dream big. Ultimately, this liberated approach allowed us to tap into their creativity beyond our usual production restrictions.'
The third portal at Black Station leads to Puma's Metaverse fashion event during NYFW set for September 13. Created by creative agency FTR using the advanced Unreal Engine 5, the visuals are expected to be breathtakingly lifelike.
'Our goal is to manifest imaginative concepts through engaging experiences, technology, and community involvement. This project, in collaboration with PUMA, empowered us to venture into the unknown and explore new ways to weave storytelling into product, fashion, and branding. The idea of a truly blended physical-digital experience has revealed vast potential for brands moving forward,' stated David Stamatis, Executive Creative Director and Partner at FTR.
Puma collaborated with the Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo to provide exclusive NFT giveaways. Patrons visiting the Ferragamo store in SoHo, New York City, had the chance to create personalized NFT artworks and view them on OpenSea instantly.
