Premint, co-founded by Brenden Mulligan, is an NFT allowlist service that empowers creators to establish access lists. It also provides collectors with opportunities to win whitelist places. As of now, over 2.7 million collectors have registered on the site without any gas fees involved.
With the rise of blockchain and the growing popularity of NFTs, raffle events are becoming more frequent in the NFT sphere. Collectors often face challenges accessing pre-sales of NFT collections, and Premint serves as a facilitator, helping them connect with creators while managing allowlists.
Nonetheless, the platform has seen a surge of bots that enter raffles en masse by transferring items across wallets. Since there weren't stringent requirements regarding the amount of available funds, these bots only needed to pay gas fees to participate.

As of August 16, Premint has launched two substantial upgrades to fend off bots.
From this point forward, individuals wishing to join a raffle will be required to hold 0.5 ETH (about $927 at the time of writing) in their wallets. Accordingly, Premint will eliminate any entries that fail to meet this criterion, compelling bots to maintain 0.5 ETH for each drawing.
Additionally, bots often engage in re-registration and cross-wallet transfers of NFTs. Now, tokens will be made non-transferable, and Premint will disqualify entries that use duplicated tokens.
These new settings will be the default on the platform; however, creators have the option to toggle them as they see fit when developing allowlists.
Despite these updates, there are critics of Premint's anti-bot measures. Some users on Twitter have voiced concerns that requiring a minimum ETH balance for raffle participation could pose risks.

With Premint, NFT initiatives can create free allowlists with up to 250 entries. Plus, creators can set specific criteria for their lists and personalize their registration pages.
When a list surpasses 250 entries, users must acquire The Creator Key NFT (formerly known as the Creator Pass NFT). This pass costs 1 ETH (around $1,850 at the current time) and provides unlimited access for creators. It's important to note that the pass cannot be transferred or resold.
Some prominent NFT collections that have leveraged Premint for whitelist generation include Gary Vaynerchuk’s VeeFriends Series 2, the blue-chip Moonbirds collection, and Cool Cats.
The platform also offers collectors a special pass known as “The Premint Collector Pass” NFT. This grants access to exclusive allowlists for pass holders and other unique perks, including pre-sales for the 2024 Passes.
At the time of writing, the market floor price for the Collector 2022-2023 Premint Passes stands at 0.46 ETH (approximately $853).
