Prada is preparing to launch yet another batch of its Timecapsule NFTs.
In light of the popularity surrounding the TimeCapsule NFT collection rolled out in June, Prada, the distinguished Italian luxury brand, has revealed the launch date for Drop #31, scheduled for July 7, 2022.
This latest release promises not only NFTs but also two exclusive physical items crafted from repurposed fabric from Prada's archives.
The first item is a black shirt adorned with a Holliday & Brown tulip pattern on a cotton poplin fabric. The second item features a luxurious 'Jacquard Animalier' silk brocade combined with lurex fabric, showcasing a Jacquard Thrush design derived from a century-old French archive. These offerings align with Prada's commitment to sustainability and circular design strategies.
The digital artworks accompanying the NFTs will showcase a captivating GIF of a capsule video, serving as a virtual representation of the tangible products.
Prada is actively enhancing its presence in the Web3 landscape. The TimeCapsule initiative was first introduced in December 2019 and occurs on the first Thursday of each month, allowing enthusiasts to participate online for a full 24-hour window. In June, Prada issued Drop #30 the brand collaborated with Cassius Hirst to release a limited-edition TimeCapsule NFT collection that quickly sold out.
On the brand’s website, there's a dedicated section titled ' Prada Crypted ' along with a Discord channel where users can connect to stay updated on upcoming drops and news.
