For less experienced individuals, PBA-X, a newly established online school from the Polkadot Blockchain Academy, provides preparatory courses to equip them with the necessary knowledge to pass this exam. About 100 developers are projected to be accepted into Cohort 6 at HSLU, with financial support from the Polkadot Treasury covering all course expenses, lodging, and partial meals.

For the first time, this cohort will introduce two distinct technical pathways: the established protocol-focused track and a new off-chain track dedicated to decentralized applications (DApps). Set to commence in Rotkreuz, Zug, the latter aims to give students the tools needed to thrive in the expanding realm of decentralized applications and their supporting infrastructure.
