Players are now given the green light to mint NFTs in the latest iteration of Axie Infinity, specifically Phase 3 of Season 0.

Axie Infinity, a pioneering blockchain-based game, is introducing Phase 3 of Season 0 with a bundle of new economic features, adjustments, and enhancements.

Players will now encounter fresh ERC-1155 tokens dubbed 'Ronin' Charms and Runes. Minting these NFTs will require a nominal payment in $SLP, also known as the 'Smooth Love Potion.' Furthermore, players will incur a minting cost of $3 for each rune or charm. This allows for buying, selling, gifting, and trading of these unique assets.

Players will now earn utilities while engaging with the game, though crafting those utilities will not be permitted in this updated version.

Additionally, those who achieve the 'Chick' rank will acquire stickers for their in-game collections. Moreover, the top 20,000 players on the Season 0 Leaderboard will bag special gift stickers.

Axie Infinity draws inspiration from Pokémon, granting players the chance to accrue tokens through gameplay and by actively contributing to the overall ecosystem. The Vietnam-based studio extends the creative freedom to third-party developers, allowing them to utilize the game’s artwork and assets to build their custom tools and experiences within the Axie Universe.
