Pixelverse is About to Launch on Raiser.co
London, UK, March 21st, 2024, Chainwire
Pixelverse, the innovative quest-based battling game from former StepApp leader Kirill Volgin, is all set to launch on Raiser.co. Marking its second release on the platform, Pixelverse will go live in April, coinciding with the alpha launch of Pixelverse Playground.
In Pixelverse, players are immersed in a captivating cyberpunk world where they can wander the underbelly of Xenon, engage in story-driven quests and PvE encounters, collect precious NFT items, and refine their distinct bots to compete against other players in thrilling arena battles.
As they navigate the Pixelverse, players take on the role of freelancers in Xenon, focusing on gathering rare collectibles to craft and enhance their bots, ultimately creating the ultimate combatant for the arena. Every freelancer, bot, and item within the game is securely held on-chain as NFTs, thanks to Pixelchain and the Pixelverse SDK, which also ensure affordable transactions and smooth integrations with external applications. The game introduces a unique 'Risk to Earn' model to foster healthy competition, allowing players to stake their tokens in hopes of victory, with all rewards going to the triumphant player.
With Kirill Volgin at the helm, Pixelverse is poised to leave a notable mark on the Web3 gaming scene. His previous venture, the successful move-to-earn initiative Step App, achieved an impressive $3.85 billion in transaction volume within just two weeks, highlighting his knack for delivering groundbreaking projects.
Kirill shared his thoughts on the upcoming launch on Raiser, stating, 'This represents a significant new benchmark for me. Step App has maintained its status as the only move-to-earn project with an active user base and a robust, scalable economy, driving genuine innovation in the space. With this experience behind me, I'm stepping into a new challenge with Pixelverse, supported by a skilled team well-versed in both web3 and gaming. We're excited to create a game that's enjoyable for everyone, not just web3 veterans but for gamers unfamiliar with the space. Raiser’s Fair Community Offering feels like the perfect strategy to engage our new users and community.'
Joining Kirill is Mahamadou Cissé, who takes on the role of CMO at Pixelverse. Mahamadou, previously the strategy director for the Ethereum-backed Cross The Ages, brings extensive experience to the table. He played a pivotal role in securing backing from over 60 VC firms, facilitating the sale of more than 30 million digital trading cards, and forming a partnership with the renowned publisher Ubisoft.
