In collaboration with Uber Freight, Waabi announced a significant partnership aimed at accelerating the safe and large-scale rollout of AI-driven autonomous trucking solutions. This alliance combines Uber Freight's extensive logistics network and technological framework with Waabi's groundbreaking Waabi Driver technology to create a game-changing driver-as-a-service model.

This innovative solution is set to significantly enhance asset utilization and increase profits for carriers of all sizes, all while simplifying the process of deploying, operating, and managing autonomous vehicles. The two companies have ambitious plans to leverage billions of miles of Waabi Driver capabilities in collaboration with carrier partners on the Uber Freight network over the next decade, ensuring a lasting impact on shipping and logistical operations.

To gather critical data for this integrated solution, Waabi Driver trucks have been deployed within the Uber Freight network, granting early access to autonomous freight capabilities for Uber Freight clients. Recently, the first autonomous commercial loads commenced operations, regularly shuttling between Dallas and Houston. This initiative allows Uber Freight's extensive network of shippers and carriers a firsthand look at the future of supply chain logistics and the potential benefits of autonomous trucking. As this partnership evolves, the commercial activities are expected to expand to additional key routes across Texas and beyond.
