The popular clothing label Pacsun has made a splash by opening a virtual three-story store during the Metaverse shopping festival. Complexland 3.0 As part of this festival running from May 25 to May 27, they will also be presenting an NFT for auction. Festival-goers will have the ability to navigate the venue with their personalized avatars and enter Pacsun’s online shops including the resale outlet PS Reserve. Once they find something appealing, they will be redirected to Pacsun’s main website to finalize their purchase.
Based in California, Pacsun is a proponent of the Metaverse, cryptocurrency, and blockchain innovations. Back in October, they gained attention as the first fashion brand to accept major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and Litecoin for in-store purchases. Earlier this April, they made their debut in the Metaverse by launching an engaging virtual shopping mall on Roblox named Pacworld.
During Complexland’s NFT art gallery, Pacsun will host an auction for a unique NFT, showcasing their iconic mall rat character. The winning bidder will also receive a pair of exclusive sneakers from their PS Reserve collection.
“The Metaverse has undeniably created an astonishing web of connections. It not only helps our customers find community but also allows us as a brand to engage with them in a more genuine way. This ultimately helps to expand our Pac Community in both the digital and real-world arenas,” they shared.
