Orderly Network Unveils Integration with Sonic’s EVM to Enable Seamless Omnichain Liquidity
In Brief
Orderly Network has revealed its innovative, chain-agnostic system on the Sonic platform, providing developers and users with the ability to tap into enhanced liquidity that spans across various blockchain networks.

Web3 liquidity layer Orderly Network announced the rollout of its chain-agnostic capabilities on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Layer 1 environment. Sonic This new partnership will enable Orderly’s omnichain orderbook functionality within Sonic, allowing both developers and users of this innovative Layer 1 blockchain to benefit from superior liquidity across multiple chains.
“Orderly’s omnichain liquidity layer has successfully integrated with well-established platforms like Ethereum and Solana, but its impact is particularly pronounced on chains like Sonic. Here, it significantly jumpstarts economic activities, while offering users the assurance of sufficient liquidity to handle trades of the size they’re used to,” explained Arjun Arora, COO of Orderly, in an interview with Cryptocurrencylistings. “This leads to improved capital use and guarantees that users won’t face disadvantages when entering networks where the native liquidity is still developing,” he added.
Sonic launched its mainnet in December 2024, providing an impressive capacity of 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) and achieving near-instant finality. Since that launch, its ecosystem has been growing steadily, attracting new users and partners alike. With Orderly's cutting-edge liquidity layer now deployed on Sonic, the trading experiences for users will be markedly enhanced, while developers gain the essential infrastructure to create robust decentralized exchanges (DEXes) and perpetual protocols.
Orderly Network’s sophisticated technology has been implemented in various blockchain projects, omnichain ecosystems including numerous EVM platforms and Solana. By integrating with Sonic’s EVM, Orderly will inject deep liquidity into the network, drawn from its cross-chain orderbook. This advancement will allow projects on Sonic to develop trading solutions without being constrained by the liquidity available on the native network.
Sonic Announces airdrop of 200 million S Tokens to Reward Loyal Users
To boost the adoption of its new Layer 1 EVM, Sonic has initiated an airdrop of around 200 million S tokens targeted at its user base. This move has further ignited interest in Sonic’s high-performance network. With the integration of Orderly Network, Sonic users—including DEX traders and airdrop participants—will experience improved trading conditions and the ability to swap assets without facing slippage.
Sonic's Layer 1 EVM blockchain offers advanced functionalities such as the Sonic Gateway and provides incentives for developers through Fee Monetization, allowing them to earn up to 90% of the fees generated by their applications. Alongside Orderly’s liquidity framework, these unique features will enable developers to create sophisticated trading applications that redefine the potential of blockchain technology.
