While ChatGPT is poised to make daily life more efficient, there's growing concern among individuals in the US and Europe about how the company will protect private data and manage misinformation.

Japan is taking a thoughtful stance towards the implementation of ChatGPT. Recently, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno mentioned that the education department is planning to draft guidelines on utilizing ChatGPT in educational settings due to worries about its potential negative effects on student learning. concerned Altman commented on Japan's pivotal role in the AI landscape, noting that over a million users in the country engage with ChatGPT daily. He also highlighted OpenAI’s mission to elevate the quality of its offerings in the Japanese language.

He stated, 'We will take all necessary steps to securely manage confidential information, and once we mitigate these concerns, we'll consider ways AI can lessen the workload of public office employees.'

Recently, OpenAI responded to privacy and safety concerns by outlining a new security strategy, promising thorough evaluations, soliciting insights from external professionals, and working alongside governmental bodies to establish effective regulations for AI.
