Oasys Joins Forces With Arbitrum Foundation to Implement Arbitrum Orbit Stack on Verse Layer

In Brief

Oasys has announced a collaboration with the Arbitrum Foundation to weave Arbitrum Orbit into its framework.

A blockchain platform tailored for the gaming industry, Oasys announced a partnership with the Arbitrum Foundation to integrate Arbitrum Orbit into its system. Arbitrum Orbit is a scaling solution for Ethereum that functions across both Layer 2 and Layer 3.

This partnership marks the first time Arbitrum Orbit technology is being deployed outside of Ethereum’s Layer 1, specifically for gaming-oriented blockchain networks. With the integration of Arbitrum Orbit, Oasys’ Hub-Layer, which operates as Layer 1, will facilitate the creation and management of its Layer 2 blockchains, termed Verses, by leveraging Arbitrum’s scalability features. This collaboration aims to foster a link to the Arbitrum ecosystem and could potentially unveil greater liquidity prospects on these emerging Layer 2 blockchains.

The initial Layer 2 to be launched through this collaboration is the Uprising Verse. This blockchain, focused on gaming, introduces the first multichain native yield mechanism and acts as a conduit linking Web2 and Web3 gaming environments. With the motto “Real games for real people,” Uprising Verse aims to make blockchain games accessible to a broader audience.

Arbitrum Orbit is poised to unlock fresh opportunities for gaming on the Oasys platform. By incorporating Verses developed via Arbitrum Orbit, it broadens the array of tools and options for constructing Verse chains, substantially boosting innovative potential. Furthermore, this integration is anticipated to bolster liquidity throughout the ecosystem and strengthen the bond between the Oasys and Arbitrum networks. Additionally, leveraging Arbitrum Orbit’s scaling features—such as enhanced throughput, lower settlement fees, and improved interoperability—developers will have the chance to elevate blockchain gaming to unprecedented levels of efficiency and capacity.

Oasys Introduces ‘VersePort,’ Streamlining Access To Campaigns And Activities Within The Oasys Ecosystem

Oasys serves as a blockchain platform specifically designed for gaming, featuring a scalable Layer 1 hub complemented by Layer 2 solutions that utilize Ethereum’s Layer 2 scaling technology. Its ecosystem provides game developers with a secure and efficient blockchain infrastructure aimed at nurturing the development of more sophisticated, secure, and interconnected gaming experiences.

Recently, it has launched a fresh portal named “VersePort,” is designed to enhance user navigation and encourage community involvement. This platform streamlines participation in campaigns and activities happening within the Oasys ecosystem, simplifying users' engagement with various initiatives.
