Cryptocurrencylistings Markets: The downtrend carries on; Bitcoin sinks below the $20,000 mark

The cryptocurrency market remains in a freefall as Bitcoin approaches the $19,000 range.
Bitcoin has certainly experienced brighter days. It has suffered another 3.41% decline, putting its trading price at $19,171.57.

Ethereum's ether isn’t faring much better, facing a hefty 4.11% tumble just within the last hour. It’s currently valued at $1,027.28, inching closer to the dreaded sub-$1,000 mark like Bitcoin.
Binance’s BNB is down 2.92%, now trading at $218.43. Meanwhile, XRP has only dropped 1.76%, but Cardano’s ADA and SOLANA SOL are struggling more severely, with decreases of 5.24% and 5.27% respectively. Fortunately, there haven’t been any catastrophic plunges recently, as the largest drops of 7% seen in Quart QNT and TerraClassic USD were the most significant in the last day.
Metaverse tokens are also following a downward trajectory. Flow has dipped by 4.82%, Decentraland’s MANA by 5.37%, and Sandbox’s SAND by 4.53%. On a slightly less severe note, ApeCoin’s APE has only decreased by 0.35%. The price of Tezos XTZ has taken a hit of 7.24%, with Theta Network and Axie Infinity AXS both down by around 5.50%.
Sadly, some NFT-related cryptocurrencies have experienced sharper declines, with VIDT Datalink plummeting by 15.39% and Monavale MONA by 12.53%.
The Metaverse Index is remaining consistently negative, as it fell to just $32.83, reflecting a 6.63% decrease since yesterday.
