Ethereum Layer 2 network Mint (MINT) has announced the launch of Mint Expedition, marking a significant mainnet event for Web3 and decentralized applications involving non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
In this event, Mint is allocating 12% of the entire MINT token supply to those taking part in the Mint voyages. These tokens will be distributed during the airdrop season as a token of gratitude and acknowledgment from Mint. Airdrop eligibility includes MintID Stakers, Activated GreenID Holders, and users of Mint Expedition. The first two groups have been part of Mint's initiatives even before the public mainnet was launched.
The inaugural season of Mint Expedition, dubbed Explorer’s Base, officially kicks off today. Participants in Explorer’s Base have the chance to earn MP and Mint Expedition NFTs by completing engaging quests, which allow them to gather essential assets, establish and secure MNS, and take on the role of pioneering explorers on Mint. Moreover, all MP and Mint Expedition NFTs collected during this phase will make participants eligible for MINT airdrops.
Mint Expedition encourages participants to investigate, create, interact with, and gain from groundbreaking projects while earning Mint MP and Mint Expedition NFTs. This adventure, driven by the community, seeks to ensure equitable access to Web3 and NFT s, promoting an interactive experience for everyone, as mentioned in Mint’s social media update on platform X.
This event will unfold over several distinct seasons, each designed to enhance the user experience. In the upcoming months, fresh routes and opportunities will be introduced, offering activities ranging from the Explorer’s Base to concealed oases and other enigmatic adventure zones, eventually leading up to the Mint Airdrop Season.
Throughout the Mint Expedition, there will be three specific administrative zones, each offering guidance and rewards. The MP Zone rewards users for completing quests to earn MP points, while the Mint Expedition NFTs Zone allows users to collect Mint Expedition NFTs upon quest completion. Furthermore, the Referral Zone enables participants to earn 10% of the airdrop rewards received by those they invite to the Mint Expedition.
Mint Unveils Mainnet And Forest Voyage, Welcoming Over 414,000 Users
This is an Ethereum-native Layer 2 network specifically crafted for the NFT industry, developed utilizing the OP Stack and supported by NFTScan and Optimism . Fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Mint allows Ethereum developers to easily expand their projects onto this new platform.
