April 24, 2025

The technology giant has rolled out Copilot Pro, which serves as a premium subscription aimed at enhancing the Copilot experience for both individual users and businesses.

by Alisa Davidson With the introduction of Copilot Pro, Microsoft is advancing generative AI functionalities and has also announced enhancements for Copilot AI, extending its offering of Copilot to Microsoft 365 users across various scales of business.

In response to the changing demands of its users, Microsoft launched Copilot Pro, a subscription option that elevates the user experience. At a rate of $20 monthly per individual, it provides sophisticated capabilities aimed at boosting productivity and fostering creativity in areas like writing, programming, graphic design, research, and education. April 24, 2025 A standout feature of Copilot Pro is the access to cutting-edge generative AI models, notably initiating with OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo. This ensures not only speed but also the ability to switch models effortlessly for an optimized experience tailored to user preferences.

Additionally, Copilot Pro features improved image creation through the Image Creator from Designer, offering 100 boosts daily for enhanced image quality, particularly in landscape formats.

The new generative AI framework will grant users the ability to utilize the Copilot GPT Builder tool, enabling them to create personalized Copilot GPTs. This function allows individuals to customize their Copilot experience around specific subjects, catering to a wide array of interests and professional fields. Join Our Newsletter. Moreover, significant updates to Copilot AI have been announced by Microsoft. The platform has successfully handled over 5 billion chats and images thus far, highlighting the increasing adoption and effectiveness of Copilot for both business and everyday use.

Widening Copilot's Access to Enterprises

At the same time, Microsoft is making Copilot available to businesses large and small without the previous minimum purchase requirement of 300 seats. Now, smaller firms subscribed to Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standard can procure Copilot for $30 per person each month, with the ability to acquire between 1 and 299 licenses.

This change follows the rollout of Copilot for larger enterprises that began last November. Organizations including BP, Honda, and Pfizer, along with various partners, have already begun incorporating Copilot into their operations, marking a transformative approach to leveraging AI across different sectors.

In addition, Microsoft has rolled out Copilot GPTs to enable users to personalize Copilot’s functionality around specific topics of interest. Predefined categories such as fitness, travel, and culinary arts will be available, allowing Copilot Pro subscribers to soon customize their own GPTs using the Copilot GPT Builder. Latest News The Copilot mobile application is now available on both Android and iOS platforms, providing users with the ability to use Copilot conveniently from anywhere, maintaining a seamless experience across devices.

By launching Copilot Pro and making Copilot more accessible within Microsoft 365, Microsoft is taking a significant step towards integrating AI into everyday tasks and workflows. These enhancements are designed to meet the diverse needs of users, from advanced feature seekers to smaller businesses aiming to boost efficiency. by Please be aware that the information presented on this site is not meant to be construed as legal, financial, investment, or any form of advice.
