Meta's platforms, including WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, already utilize end-to-end encryption, ensuring that no one—not even the company itself—can access your private communications.
Alongside this update regarding Oculus's v40 software,
it has been announced that users will benefit from 'more granular control' over app unlock functionalities and the ability to conduct payments using a 3DS-compliant credit card in VR, integrating an extra layer of 3DS verification for added security during transactions. Meta Moreover, the v40 update from Meta brings enhanced support for a range of Bluetooth keyboards and introduces features aimed at improving the Quest headset experience, particularly for users with hearing impairments. There is now a Mono Audio setting available, allowing sound to play uniformly from the headset speakers. Additionally, users can adjust the sound balance between the left and right audio channels.
