Mercedes-Benz Forms Alliance with Fingerprints DAO for Impressive NFT Series

Mercedes-Benz has revealed its collaboration with Fingerprints DAO to present a unique digital art collection titled “Maschine,” crafted by the talented artist Harm van den Dorpel.

German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz As part of this collaboration, Mercedes-Benz is working with the autonomous digital art organization Fingerprints DAO to launch a distinctive digital collection known as “Maschine.” This collection is the brainchild of Berlin artist Harm van den Dorpel, whose works delve into emergent aesthetics through the blend of code and language, emphasizing themes of genetics and blockchain.
The “Maschine” collection features 1,000 Ethereum-based NFTs produced using an identical algorithm. Interestingly, Harm van den Dorpel opted not to use AI in crafting this collection, instead employing a bespoke neural network during his exploration of a fully immersive 3D dimension. According to the information shared with Metaverse Post, the pieces aim to engage viewers by playing with the notion of movement, drawing them in with a visual reminiscent of a rotating wheel.
This collection will be minted through a Dutch auction format, commencing on June 7 at noon ET. The auction will be hosted on the platform of Fingerprints DAO. platform .
Significantly, this release is supported by Mercedes-Benz NXT, the company's new division dedicated to web3 initiatives focusing on digital assets. On May 24, Mercedes-Benz NXT declared three major upcoming collections, with “Maschine” being the first open to the public. The second release will be exclusively offered to a select group of Mercedes-Benz's elite clientele, with 1,886 tokens minted at exclusive top-customer events.
The third core collection will showcase digital collectibles designed by the Mercedes-Benz creative team, led by Chief Design Officer Gorden Wagener. This series will explore the intricate relationships between the history, present, and future of Mercedes-Benz.
