Louis Vuitton NFT Scam Alert

The fraudulent Louis Vuitton account created on OpenSea has been targeting prominent NFT collectors.
The creator of it has ‘followed’ the LVMH game This account has even attempted to promote the 'Official collection of 30 exclusive Vivienne' tied to the gaming app.
The OpenSea page The collection itself appears quite convincing, equipped with a verified checkmark, a surprisingly high minimum price, and a minting feature on the site. Initially, the minting price was set at 0.12 ETH, while the secondary market floor was already soaring at 26.7 ETH. Notably, the trading volume indicated is a puzzling 0.00 ETH.

Adding to the alarm, these NFTs were inexplicably airdropped into the wallets of several known influencers.
On April 27, several individuals were caught minting the counterfeit Louis Vuitton NFTs, leading to the theft of valuable non-fungible tokens from their wallets afterward.
In a previous release, the legitimate Louis Vuitton unveiled a collection of PFP-like NFTs tied to their mobile game, Louis: The Game, which first launched in April 2021 to commemorate Louis Vuitton's 200th birthday. Players in the game can amass up to 30 unique NFTs created by the acclaimed digital artist Beeple. However, these tokens are locked within the game and are not tradeable on any marketplace.

Players who amassed a specific number of NFTs in-game were qualified for a raffle held in August 2021. This event offered users the chance to win one of ten NFTs featuring Vivienne, the avatar of the game. These character NFTs, dressed in various outfits, could then be traded across multiple platforms.
The gaming application is readily available on both the App Store and Google Play.
