The news is out: Logan Paul has introduced his new NFT-DAO initiative, titled 99 Originals. But is this yet another scam?

Logan Paul – with a staggering 24 million followers across social media platforms – has launched his latest NFT endeavor called 99. 99 Originals . 

Inspired by his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, Logan Paul recounts in the trailer for 99 Originals how that fight was a pivotal moment in his life that ultimately just slipped away. This realization sparked his drive to encapsulate his life’s most significant moments.

The adventure for 99 Originals kicked off on August 21, 2021, as Logan set out to travel the world, capturing his experiences through Polaroid photography over the course of 99 days.

Each of the 99 unique photos will be turned into NFTs, with half of the earnings going directly to Logan while the other half will support the Originals DAO.

Logan vividly described his journey: 'I pushed myself to the limits, both mentally and physically, trekking 84,029 miles with just a Polaroid camera. I faced numerous challenges, from broken bones and addiction to moments of pure wonder. Throughout this whirlwind, I captured 99 of the most significant times in my life on tangible film.'

Each NFT holder will become a member of the DAO community, gaining access to its treasury. In a video, Logan mentioned that members will have the autonomy to decide how to use these funds. 'Whether it's to invest in assets, support artists, organize grand events worldwide, or even purchase a jet for community charter use, the possibilities are endless...'

Starting April 18, one NFT will be auctioned every day, and every buyer will receive a high-resolution physical copy of the Polaroid they acquired.

Famed NFT artist Beeple responded to Logan’s 99 Originals trailer with intriguing ‘observing eye’ emojis.
