This compact gadget allows users to transport themselves into the metaverse as lifelike avatars without the need for bulky motion-capture gear. Instead, it employs a camera to monitor movements seamlessly.
Thanks to the cutting-edge 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processor, Project Chronos brings a glasses-free experience that captures full-body movements, empowering users to control their avatars in real-time without relying on motion-capture accessories.
These avatars are designed to replicate every gesture, stance, and facial expression with impressive immediacy. However, it's important to note that the technology still has room for improvement: some movements appear a bit awkward, and facial expressions don’t translate perfectly. As one observer pointed out, 'the smile on one person looked more eerie than inviting.'
