Unpacking the approach of Destroy and Rebuild towards NFT synthesis
The exhibitor hall at NFT.NYC was alive with blockchain innovations, Web3 solutions, and an abundance of NFT showcases all striving for attendees’ engagement. We took a moment to speak with representatives from Destroy and Rebuild a new avatar series launching on the Ethereum blockchain.
Yui expressed their vision: 'We aim to dismantle the outdated methods, the traditional approaches, and create a revitalized Web3 environment filled with diverse communities.'
Their vision, along with their avatar collection, kicks off with six original species, each blending popular traits from the best NFT sets that have made waves in the Web3 space. 'We infused our design philosophy and worked it all together to create this new NFT collection,' Yui shared.
Launching this week, enthusiasts can acquire their avatar from the Destroy and Rebuild series by relinquishing a bit of control. Instead of directly bidding on or purchasing a predetermined avatar, users will see a slot machine mechanism come to life, assembling their character with a mix of randomized features like hats, glasses, mouth designs, and body types.
