The project's site explains: 'We transformed an open-source assembly version of the SHA-256 hashing algorithm, which is essential for crafting cryptographic seed phrases based on BIP-39, into GBAssembly—the coding language used for Game Boy games.'
Importantly, since Game Boys have never connected to the internet, these devices are safeguarded against potential digital phishing attacks.
