Hyundai and Meta Kongz Join Forces to Launch a Metaverse
The well-known South Korean car maker is reportedly getting ready to launching a Metaverse, partnering with the ‘ Meta Kongz ’ NFT project.
Hyundai Motor Company envisions 'Metamobility' as a concept that would significantly broaden human capabilities, granting them unparalleled access to freedom in terms of mobility.
In their quest to delve into the digital realm, Hyundai has partnered with Meta Kongz, which features a unique collection of 10,000 randomly generated 3D profile pictures (PFPs) that can be found on OpenSea . As is typical with many PFP collections, Meta Kongz boasts a wide range of distinct characteristics. The project's creator, Lee Duhee, along with his team, aims to put Korea on the NFT map and help to globalize NFTs within the country. Their roadmap even includes plans for an official billboard in Seoul to commemorate the successful sell-out of the project.
To make a solid entry into the NFT arena, the automotive giant has unveiled a dedicated Twitter account and a Discord space . This platform will continuously provide updates and news on their NFT collection.
To mark the launch of their Metaverse initiative, Hyundai is set to introduce a limited NFT collection comprising 30 unique pieces that will be accessible on the Meta Kongz platform. Following that, in May 2022, the automotive brand plans to release a diverse array of NFTs, representing cutting-edge mobility vehicles, kickstarting the 'Hyundai Metamobility universe'.
