Hublot and Takashi Murakami Are Focusing on Watch NFT Development

Luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot has announced a collaboration with Takashi Murakami The well-known Japanese artist, whose signature work features a happy, colorful blossom, collaborated with Hublot in 2021 to produce a collection of eye-catching watches, including the Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow and All Black versions, which were incredibly popular and sold out quickly.
This year, the duo plans to unveil NFTs utilizing Takashi's imaginative designs to launch new timepieces replicating the 2021 collection. The upcoming Hublot Classic Fusion Murakami Sapphire Rainbow will boast 108 units—8 more than the original quantity released back in 2021—while the All Black version will consist of 216 watches, an increase from the previous 200 units.
The NFTs will be digital representations of these models. Only those who currently own the Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow or the Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black can claim the exclusive Hublot Classic Fusion Murakami NFTs. The brand will verify the serial numbers of each timepiece to ensure that a single individual can't claim more than one NFT.
That means all eligible watch owners must register on Hublotista and possess an Ethereum wallet.
The limited edition watch NFTs are set to be available for claim starting in May 2022.
