An exciting wave of heavy metal concerts is on the horizon in the Metaverse. The Sandbox, in collaboration with Slipknot, is announcing the launch of 'Knotverse.'

Earlier this year, The Sandbox partnered with Warner Music to bring iconic stars like Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran to perform in the Metaverse. Now, they're back at it with 'Knotverse,' a project featuring Slipknot.
The virtual space curated by Slipknot and Knotfest will serve as a gathering place for heavy music enthusiasts, offering them immersive experiences in the Web3 environment.
Slipknot, one of the most prominent heavy metal bands born in the 1990s in Iowa, has created Knotfest, a festival known for its 'dark carnival' vibe, held in various locations worldwide. Knotverse will become the epicenter for heavy music culture, offering concerts, gaming opportunities, NFTs, digital apparel, and exclusive merchandise.
Knotverse within The Sandbox will embody the dark carnival aesthetic and authenticity that Knotfest has developed over the past two decades. This project aims to be the ultimate virtual hangout for metal aficionados.
The initial NFT release, titled 'My Legacy' by Shawn Crahan (also known as Clown), is set for launch on April 22. Crahan is a founding member of Slipknot and has a deep interest in NFTs. owns 60 artworks from various collections.
