Hashflow Debuts Gamified Trading Platform ‘Hashverse’

Hashflow Hashflow, a decentralized exchange (DEX), has just launched its innovative gamified trading platform, Hashverse . 

The organization emphasizes its mission is to transform DeFi trading and governance into an engaging and immersive journey for users involved in Web3 communities while fostering open participation and opportunities for rewards.

This choice to adopt a gamified strategy for trading and governance marks a significant shift away from traditional frameworks.

Hashflow joined forces with Superconductor, a creative team behind blockbuster franchises such as The Avengers, Captain America, and Fast & Furious. The storyline immerses users in a futuristic world where ancient civilizations collide with advanced technologies.

According to Andrew Saunders, Hashflow’s Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer (CMSO), 'We collaborated with Hollywood creators to weave a richer narrative than is typically found in Web3. We believed that while trading can be competitive, infusing it with a story would elevate the experience, connecting with enthusiasts of gaming, sci-fi, and more.'

Mechanics of Hashverse

Within Hashverse, players can create characters linked to various web3 communities, referred to as 'Allegiances' on the platform. They can undertake individual quests and engage in exciting team-based Battle Royales. The platform claims these activities provide an immersive experience while ensuring participants have a say in the governance of the Hashflow protocol.

'Community engagement is vital in Web3, yet we recognize that many communities are somewhat disconnected. For the first time, we wanted to bring these passionate individuals together, believing a united Web3 community can only thrive,' Saunders stated.

After players mint characters from their respective Allegiances (communities), they can embark on solo adventures, earning XP through unique quests that focus on storytelling, trading expertise, and community engagement. This XP not only opens the door to HFT (Hashflow’s governance token) rewards but also fortifies their communities.

Encouraging Community Involvement and Diversity

The Hashverse is dedicated to fostering community collaboration and inclusivity. Owning HFT tokens gives users a voice in governance matters.

'The more HFT tokens you own and earn, the greater weight your votes carry in governance,' Andrew Saunders emphasized.

Furthermore, HFT holders who maintain substantial balances can put forward proposals through the governance forum. These can draw from the community treasury and must be framed as Hashflow improvement proposals (HIPs), each requiring a champion to oversee their progress.

Noteworthy Allegiances and Their Importance

Team-oriented trading competitions, or Battle Royales, feature prominently in Hashverse. To form these teams, Hashflow identified key alpha Allegiances that represent NFT, trading, and research communities across Ethereum and Arbitrum.

Among these are notable names like Deadfellaz, DeGods, Pudgy Penguins, Ready Player DAO, Realm, Sappy Seals, and many more on the way.

'We sought out communities that not only endure during bearish trends but also showcase truly dedicated leadership committed to their members,' Saunders explained when addressing the criteria for selecting alpha Allegiances.

Joining an alpha Allegiance in Hashverse opens several avenues. Players can gain entry through ownership of associated NFTs, which grant access to exclusive characters and team opportunities. More NFTs translate to a broader selection of character options.

Conversely, holders of special Hashflow NFTs, obtained from earlier initiatives like Creation’s Coffer mint, can unlock unique Allegiances and the characters that come with them.

In an effort to champion inclusivity and allow players to discover new communities that reflect their passions, Hashverse adopts an open-door policy. Participants without Allegiance-related NFTs can easily join the 'Hashforce.' This approach guarantees that everyone can enjoy the platform and potentially find Web3 communities aligned with their interests.

Rewards for All

The inaugural season of Hashverse boasts a significant prize pool of 1 million HFT tokens, available to both alpha Allegiances and individual competitors.

'We believe that Web3 should be built by the community, for the community. Thus, it's crucial for projects to contribute more value than they take,' Saunders stated.

The first Battle Royale of Season 1 is set to launch on October 4. Interested players can begin registering now. This season will span over 12 consecutive weeks, with players engaging in Battle Royales every two weeks to compete for their share of the prize pool.
