Gucci creates a Town in Roblox

Italian fashion house Gucci The announcement regarding their new town on Roblox was made recently.

Gucci is adapting its marketing techniques through an engagement in the Metaverse, marking another significant moment in their foray into the virtual gaming world. Roblox Earlier in January 2021, the fashion giant made waves by launching the digital Gucci Garden on Roblox, which attracted over 20 million curious visitors despite being open for just a fortnight. Additionally, they collaborated with SUPERPLASTIC to launch a unique NFT collection.

Selected Gucci stores began accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment in May 2022.

Now, users can explore Gucci’s virtual town on Roblox, which features a central garden that connects various themed areas.

For gaming enthusiasts, there are mini-games available where players can compete and earn GG Gems as rewards. In the virtual shop, players have the option to try on and purchase outfits for their Roblox characters, taking advantage of innovative clothing technology that makes digital garments appear realistic. Nicolas Oudinot, Gucci’s EVP of new businesses, stated, “Our design approach has consistently centered around the community.”

Vault Plaza offers visitors a chance to engage with exceptional art, delve into the brand’s storied history, and appreciate the craftsmanship behind Gucci products while taking photos and mingling at the Gucci cafe—a truly enchanting place to be.
