Our goal was to create a responsible tool that instills trust among users in visuals generated for business applications.'
The Generative AI tool from Getty Images operates on the Edify model architecture, supported by NVIDIA Picasso – a creative hub for generative AI models specializing in visual design. According to the company, this tool has been developed using only content from Getty Images’ vast creative collection, which features exclusive high-quality assets and provides complete indemnification for commercial use.
Creating an image with this tool is as simple as entering a text description. Every prompt, the resulting images, and all user input will contribute to ongoing training of the AI model.
Getty Images ensures that clients who generate and download imagery through this platform will earn the standard royalty-free license, which includes guarantees, unlimited indemnity, and a lifelong, global, non-exclusive right to deploy the content across various media formats.
Moreover, images generated via this tool will not be added to Getty Images or iStock's existing licensing libraries for other users. Content creators involved in training data will also receive compensation.
