As noted by a security surveillance service PeckShield , the malicious individuals behind FrenTechPro have displayed their capability by targeting a diverse array of blockchain platforms. This highlights their advanced skills and expertise in navigating through various networks.

FrenTechPro’s Hack Sparks Concerns

PeckShield's official account on Twitter has shed light on the activities of FrenTechPro and issued caution to users regarding its phishing schemes, pointing out that FrenTechPro misleadingly claims to be the ‘friendtech X’ account.

This alert came closely on the heels of a warning from SlowMist founder Yu Xian, who also identified FrenTechPro as a fraudulent phishing operation. Yu emphasized that the scam's tactic involved convincing users to press an 'ACTIVATE NOW' button, which once clicked, enabled the system to persistently seek access to the assets tied to the user’s wallet.

Escalating Malicious Activities in the Crypto Sphere

This incident is far from the first time hackers have taken advantage of unsuspecting users. Scams like the one executed by FrenTechPro are increasingly becoming a pressing issue in the crypto realm.

These con artists often masquerade as legitimate services or platforms, cleverly manipulating users into unintentionally providing access or authorizing direct transfers of their funds.

AegisWeb3, another cybersecurity firm, has also issued warnings regarding FrenTechPro. Their analysis pointed out how the scam lured users into signing transactions, effectively giving approval for unauthorized transfers from their wallets.
